Storytelling in action

Lines, shapes and silhouettes

My first camera I bought simply to illustrate my writings with pictures, to be able to draw readers into the text with a single glance.

Soon after, the camera became an instrument with which I became almost physically fused, always eager to register, freeze the moment and stop time. The camera became my window to the world, my foot in the door, and so often the trigger for special encounters and nourishing conversations.

When I stroll along the streets today, I try to seize the interesting in the ordinary by searching for lines, shapes, contrasts and silhouettes.

The provisional result of my photographic journey you can view in the two galleries here below (Ecliptica and Amfioen).

Feel free to let me know what you think about my work. I would appreciate your feedback.

Enjoy!
